The game has maximum resolution of 1024x768. When leaving the game, resolution
ramains the some so one hneeds to run Nvidia settings applet to returt the
desktop resolution to the higher value.

Running NVIDIA settings application isn't required.

man xrandr

(or just run `xrandr -s 0` to return to your initial resolution)

X system does not set the correct refresh rate even after boot up. I have to
run nvadia settings each time after boot up my computer.
