--- Comment #1 from Sebastian Lackner sebastian@fds-team.de --- Building for Mageia was disabled temporarily when we moved to our new build system (see https://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-devel/2017-March/117104.html):
We had to temporarily disable the building of packages for Mageia 5. The problem is that the tool used for generating the repository files is not very compatible with other distros and I did not find a working combination of genhdlist2, URPM and librpm that works on Debian without any warnings or errors. We therefore decided to pause the builds until we made sure that we can provide a fully working repository.
For reference, old builds (before we switched to the new system) are still available at: https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds.old/.
Actually it would be interesting to know how many people actually want to use WineHQ packages on Mageia, to evaluate if it makes sense to bring them back, or if the dead links should just be removed.
Also, if there are any people familiar with Mageia listening here: If you can provide hints how to get those packaging tools properly working on Debian, that would also be very appreciated.

--- Comment #3 from Rosanne DiMesio dimesio@earthlink.net --- I've removed Mageia from the Download page and added notes to the forum sticky and the Mageia wiki page explaining that the packages have been discontinued.
Since this bug was about dead links, marking fixed. Bug 43436 is about bringing the packages back.
