This was written for the Mac OS build machine maintained by Michael Müller and Sebastian Lackner. That machine is out of service as of Wine 5.8. The current plan is to ensure the replacement has a recent enough SDK to use fstatat().
Until a replacement system is up and running you won’t be seeing any official Winehq packages for macOS.

--- Comment #2 from Gcenx gcenx83@gmail.com --- As I build wine every release anyway I'll upload winehq style "Wine Devel" & "wine Staging" app bundles to https://github.com/Gcenx/macOS_Wine_builds.
These will required OS X 10.9 as I'm providing the current version of FAudio and OS X 10.8 can't really connect to anything anymore without workarounds.
I've uploaded; - Wine-Devel-5.9 - Wine-Staging-5.9
The required dylibs are included within the bundle, XQuartz-2.7.7 is not required unless someone wants to use the X11 display driver over macDriver.

--- Comment #3 from joaopa jeremielapuree@yahoo.fr --- Still no binary for wine-5.14.

--- Comment #4 from Gcenx gcenx83@gmail.com --- (In reply to joaopa from comment #3)
Still no binary for wine-5.14.
If your waiting in a Winehq package I wouldn’t hold your breath, it seems nobody wNt to take over making the macOS packages.
My builder is currently running a wine-devel-5.14 build wine-staging-5.14 was completed before I’d left for work, so my packages will be available sometime tonight or tomorrow unless I find a major bug in the current release.

--- Comment #5 from Alexandre Julliard julliard@winehq.org --- Alistair has volunteered to build the packages, and we've made a build machine available to him. I believe he's in the process of setting things up.

Alistair has volunteered to build the packages, and we've made a build machine available to him. I believe he's in the process of setting things up.
I hope the new builder will have its source accessible so patches can be submitted as needed.
Preferably the builder will be using MacOSX10.13.sdk with the QuickTime.framework from MacOSX10.11.sdk

I am in the process of doing this, its just taking time to setup.

--- Comment #8 from Gcenx gcenx83@gmail.com --- I’d uploaded wine-devel-5.14 & wine-staging-5.14 packages and updated my brew tap.

There’s no packages for download as nobody has officially taken over building macOS packages.

--- Comment #12 from Yurii Kolesnykov root@yurikoles.com --- @Gcenx why don't you step in as official builder?
I wanted to propose myself, but after I saw you comments on this ticket, it seems that you made good progress on the matter.

@Gcenx why don't you step in as official builder?
I’m currently discussing this at great lengths with @Gijs, we’ve figured out what we’re able to and the rest would need to be discussed on the wine-devel mailing list to iron out any remaining specifics.
(In reply to Yurii Kolesnykov from comment #12)
I wanted to propose myself, but after I saw you comments on this ticket, it seems that you made good progress on the matter.
The remaining annoyance would be providing a .pkg installer, code-signing and notarizing is a PITA and something I’d rather not deal with (also needed to let my personal developer license expire)

Hello there.
I just want to add that the existing 5.7 builds have expired certs as of now.
The existing packages were not code-signed so there’s no cert that could expire.

I meant for the package file which seems to be signed with a cert from Software Freedom Conservancy. I can ignore the warning, but it would be great to have more recent official builds.
I understand the difficulties, though.

Gijs and myself are working on new official Winehq packages but getting the desired gstreamer plugins to compile and work correctly for 32Bit is a PITA.
If you want the latest versions of wine now you can grab them from my GitHub repository mention ins comment #1, the minimum for those packages is now macOS High Sierra however. This can be manually installed or use my brew tap.
