--- Comment #1 from Bruno Jesus 00cpxxx@gmail.com 2013-05-25 19:59:35 CDT --- wine-1.5.15AMDSpeedHack does not seem to be an official wine build, please update to vanilla wine 1.5.31 and try again. If the problem persists attach a new log.
Not major, read http://bugs.winehq.org/page.cgi?id=fields.html#importance

--- Comment #2 from Pål monsterhart9@yahoo.com 2013-05-30 23:16:17 CDT --- WS9Wine1.5.15AMDSpeedHack is one of the official engines downloadable within the Wineskin Winery application. I believe I was able to fix the problem by setting Wineskin to force use of XQuartz instead of WineskinX11, it was still immensely laggy though. I did a few other things too though, so I'm not sure. But its irrelevant now as I've moved through several other packages since then and haven't had the problem since. The one I was using that got this glitch was the Steps portS build for that game. I tried it with the Paul The Tall build next but despite it functioning perfectly it was also too laggy (half as laggy as Steps portS though) so I made my own packages with Winery. Now I'm working with a Wineskin-2.5.10Beta4 package running WS9Wine1.5.29 (which I was only able to make after finding a way around that Winery glitch I'm sure you've heard of) and the lag is much better but I've got a graphics glitch now which is almost worse. There's a few other glitches too, which may be caused by my work around of the Winery hang and crash glitch, I'm working on it though.

--- Comment #3 from Henri Verbeet hverbeet@gmail.com 2013-05-31 04:40:05 CDT --- None of those are supported by us. For OS X, if you want to file a bug here, you pretty much need to build from either http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/wine/wine-1.5.31.tar.bz2 or git://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git. For Linux there are also binary packages at http://www.winehq.org/download.

--- Comment #4 from Pål monsterhart9@yahoo.com 2013-05-31 12:06:45 CDT --- My mistake, I was under the impression Wineskin Winery was the official software. What is the official software? I selected the link to the Downloads page that you gave; I'm surprised, I was unaware that Crossover had anything to do with Wine. (I've heard of both Crossover and Wine but never investigated it) The page doesn't imply that Crossover is the official software though, it says that its owned by a company called CodeWeavers. Is there even an official software? I've only been looking at Wine/Wineskin for a couple days so I don't really know what's going on with it yet. Is this open source, and if so where is the official site/forum for it? I'll check out your Development Links page off the home page. I'll test the engine you linked me too, thanks. I'll check out the git link as well and see what I can learn from that. Thanks for the links and the help. And I apologize if this was the wrong place to report this bug, I did so because the program told me to submit the bug here when it generated the crash notification.

For OS X, only the source links I gave above. CrossOver is not supported here either, though it is supported by CodeWeavers.

The site is at http://www.winehq.org/, the forums are at http://forum.winehq.org/. That's probably also a better place to get more information than the bugtracker. For what it's worth, we also have an IRC channel, #winehq on freenode.

--- Comment #7 from Anastasius Focht focht@gmx.net --- Hello folks,
I tested this on my own and found the game works well out of the box nowadays (high graphics settings on Nvidia). No recent response from OP -> resolving 'fixed'.
Tidbit: the installer automatically installs .NET Framework 2.0 in prefixes without Mono.

It was probably INVALID to begin with, unless you could reproduce the crash in plain 1.5.15?
