Kindle will open however when attempts made to download any of inventory kindle
announces a programme error and to close have to quit in launcher

wine-1.3.27
LinuxMint 11 64 bit

Kindle worked prior to last updates, now it crashes on open, reinstall crashes
as well.

I confirm. In version 1.3.26 Kindle worked perfectly, in 1.3.27 it crashes.
Reinstall in clean wine folder did not help.

I'm using Ubuntu 11.10 x64.

Potentially a dupe of bug 28199 or bug 28225. Please retest in git.

Though there's still a valid bug, that

is unimplemented.

Still present in wine-1.3.27-152-g1103cb9.

Deleting or renaming
~/.wine/c/windows/winsxs/manifests/x86_microsoft.vc90.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_9.0.30729.4148_none_deadbeef.manifest
fixes it, so it's partly a duplicate of bug 28225.
