I found a regression with latest Wine 3.13 version:
Star Wars the force unleashed crashed during Aspyr Video or when appearing  the
main menu

this bug does not appear with Wine 3.13 staging version.

What exactly is the regression here? If it's fixed in staging, isn't it just an
issue that's fixed in staging?

All I can say to you is that this game crashes with 3.13 and not with the 3.13
staging version.

So when an issue is present in Wine vanilla but not in staging, it is not
necessary to report it?

No, it still is (and much appreciated). It's just that by "regression" we mean
something that was working with an older Wine version that now, after updating
Wine, doesn't work anymore.

So, was the game working with older plain Wine? If not, this is not a
regression. But this is a valid bug either way.

The game still crashed with Wine 3.15 during Aspyr Video, I joined you the

The crash does not happened if I override xaudio2_4 in "native,builtin"

Probably one of the xaudio staging patches fix the issue then. If you can build
from source, can you find out what staging patch fixes the issue?
