Summary: RM2k3 Event Editor works very slow. Product: Wine Version: unspecified Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P1 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: rave002@o2.pl
When I switch to Event Layer in RPG Maker 2003 it takes a several seconds to few minutes before events and event grid will show up. Probably something slowing in redraw system, because after editing an event I must wait too.

Wine version?
I think this is version-independent. I downloaded now newest release from opensuse repo, an this is the same. And yes, this is serious bug for me, so please don't change. This "minor" bug can affect the games that way, so game creator cannot make any complex event scripts, because every time he/she/it/whatever edits the event on map must wait, i dunno 3 minutes? before the application unfreezes and he/she/it/whatever can continue making his/her/its/whatever game.

Waiting isn't an easy workaround for me. If there is any other, i am open for suggestions. Wine version 1.1.31-1.1

Waiting isn't an easy workaround for me.
The severity levels have nothing to do with you. But with the problem. Something being "slow" doesn't constitute anything more then "minor problem".
Terminal output?
