Hi,
I don't know if i explain correctly. I installed the latest version of EA Origin in a 32 and 64 bits wineprefix and the issue is the same.
The installation and the update work but when i launch the application, it launched correctly (see my screenshot) but unfortunatly, the Origin's window does not appear.
Which log i can share to (with a good luck) find where come from the issue.

This is the log from the output console after to launch the application.
I forgot to explain that to reproduce the issue is easy, download, install and launch the app from a clean wineprefix.
I said that previously that the issue is the same for a 32 and 64 bits wineprefix. But the 64bits wineprefix needs vcrun2013 from winetricks.

Fresh wineprefix, I can't see origin window, with wine-staging I see it but it vanishes.
Also the installer seems to require windows 7. Falling back xp mode wont work.
wine 2.4 and staging 2.4.
Origin is so irritating it tends to break very often with wine.

Please, retest with the latest Origin installer.
I got the described issue only once in several attempts at reproducing.
When it happens, I kill the Origin.exe process, launch Origin.exe from the install directory again and it works (the login window appears).
Wine 5.3, 32bit prefix.

wine 2.4 and staging 2.4.
wine-staging is required to install/update Origin (server-File_Permissions - bug 44691), but this issue is not wine-staging related.

Terminal output from wine 5.3 in a 64-bit wineprefix.
After installing the client it updated and then was stuck when the login window would have opened.
While it was stuck it kept printing those lines: --- terminal output --- (...) 0188:fixme:netprofm:list_manager_GetConnectivity 00219158, 018FDB44 01f0:err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x7ebda3c0 "/media/wine-shares/git/dlls/user32/sysparams.c: monitors_section" wait timed out in thread 01f0, blocked by 00be, retrying (60 sec) (...) --- end terminal output ---
