Bug #: 34900 Summary: Winetricks can't install MSXML4 Product: Wine Version: 1.6 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Mac OS X Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: ph.schaefe@gmail.com Classification: Unclassified
Created attachment 46505 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=46505 Winetricks can't install MSXML4. The shell then tells me this:
Winetricks can't install MSXML4.
Manual install via "wine msiexec /i /Users/Xyz/Library/Caches/winetricks/msxml4/msxml.msi" doesn't work either.
Any help would be appreciated.

--- Comment #2 from Nikolay Sivov bunglehead@gmail.com 2013-11-12 22:05:05 CST --- It looks like you have at least native comctl32. This can't be a msxml4 problem.

--- Comment #3 from ph.schaefe@gmail.com 2013-11-12 22:51:30 CST --- Thanks for your reply.
Should I override the native comctl32 ?
Or should I replace the file with one from another windows computer ?
Could it be that this is a Mavericks problem?

--- Comment #4 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2013-11-13 17:00:25 CST --- Works fine for me in a clean WINEPREFIX and wine-1.7.6-90-gf19f85f and wine-1.6. Can you try in a clean WINEPREFIX?
