Should this be tested with the latest version of MSN, or should we abandon this
bug? I do not believe that version 5 can be downloaded anymore.

When attempting to login, MSN prompts me to update versions. It fetches the
update automatically, but it does not install it. It continuously prompts me to
update if I attempt to login again. With which version should I test this bug
instead?

If you can attempt to login, then it's not crashing on startup :-).
