The EVE Testserver client (http://content.eveonline.com/test/EVE_Premium_Setup_181725_test_m.exe) shows some gfx flickering on high shader settings. (no login required)
Some details can be seen on the screenshot. The planet contains some strange patterns and the object on the right has some dark dots which are flickering around. This is basicly on every object in the game.

the planet does not move so the pattern is static the object on the right moves so the errors flicker around on the object

Confirming. It happens in all the following wine versions: * 1.1.25, 1.1.30, 1.3.3, wine-1.3.3-282-g440cf08
"winetricks corefonts" is needed.

--- Comment #12 from Damien Clark corodius@gmail.com 2010-11-06 04:12:05 CDT --- Ok, this bug (and the transparent multisampling bug) are all present in Windows aswell, it is an issue with the new test shader system. Workaround for now is to enable HDR aswell. CCP have confirmed this bug.
Just to reiterate, this is "not" a Wine bug, it is a bug in the test server client itself and will be (hopefully) sorted soon.
