Photoshop.exe crash log.

Title says all. Program runs well and I can use certain tools on it, but
whenever I use the text tool it either hangs up, or crashes. This may seem to
be similar to other PS-related atmlib errors, but Dan told me that it's a tad
different.

looks like it may be DIB engine related, though could be a red herring.

Sounds more or less like it. The tool worked on previous versions of Wine.

There is no reason to think it's DIB engine related. If this is a regression
please post the results of your regression testing:

Probably duplicate of the bug 16144, similar problem reported in the bug 16499
has been fixed long time ago.

ubuntu12.04, wine 1.5.7

Got this bug too. But I can use type tool without hanging photoshop. It hangs
only when trying to open psd with text layer. Any other layers don't cause
this.

while opening file, have also this in terminal:

"fixme:driver:NamedEscape ((nil), L"ATMFD.DLL", 9483, 194, 0x32cf04, 194,
0x32cf04)
fixme:driver:NamedEscape ((nil), L"ATMFD.DLL", 9483, 194, 0x32d138, 194,
0x32d138)"

atmlib.dll and atmfd.dll are present in system32 folder

plug-in.

I had the same issue, it went away after installing allfonts using winetricks

I get the crash on text tool as well. I installed atmlib and allfonts through
winetricks, but it still crashes every time I try. I've attached my log. Any
help would be appreciated!

"winetricks atmlib" fixed it for me.

Hello folks,

the bug has been messed up since quite a while.

Dupe of bug 9623 and bug 16144

comment #1 + #2 = both recipes missing (technically dupe of both)
comment #6 + #7 = user messed up
comment #8 = dupe of bug 9623
comment #9 = dupe of bug 16144
comment #10 = claims "I installed atmlib and allfonts through winetricks, but
it still crashes every time I try" which is obviously wrong.
'atmlib' is not mapped into crashing process address space = user messed up

Resolving to prevent any further confusion here.
