Summary: Operation Flashpoint: Resistance - Rendering completely messed up. Product: Wine Version: 0.9.34. Platform: PC URL: http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: wine-directx-d3d AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: daniel.skorka@stud.uni-karlsruhe.de
Up to 0.9.32, rendering worked mostly fine. Since 0.9.33, rendering is completely distorted (exception: running OFP:R in a window via '-window'). The sky seems to be rendered in front of everything else. In places where the sky should be seen, no artefacts are visible. In parts of the screen where e.g. the ground should be visible, a "hall of mirror"-type effect can be seen, still showing the sky. There is however a small rectangle in the lower left corner which is rendered correctly. Wine warns that --- snip --- fixme:d3d:IWineD3DDeviceImpl_CreateAdditionalSwapChain The app requests more than one back buffer, this can't be supported properly. Please configure the application to use double buffering(=1 back buffer) if possible --- snip --- There is no option to use double buffering. I do not remember seeing this message before 0.9.33
