S.T.A.L.K.E.R. by default uses OpenAL wrapper for sound output. Just before making any sound game crashes. Forcing the game to use dsound directly works (add -dsound command line switch).

And indeed the new version of OpenAL does not crash. However it produces cracking noises and that's it. But that a different bug.

I truied remove this files from game directory and sound works. This libraries may not work in Windows too.
