[Bug 1631] sound problems running warblade

I just tried with latest cvs.  Using native quartz.dll.  I don't get the DSOUND 
errors at all.  But I get the same lockup, this is the output to the console.

If I don't use the native quartz.dll, I still get the DSOUND errors.
