I use Arch on my main build and it installs fine. However, the WoW installer does do several 'Initialising' loops before it begins to download WoW data. On MX Linux a few months ago, WoW wouldn't download at all as per this bug report, but recently it now works as per Arch above.
Ubuntu and derivatives such as Mint seem to be stuck in the 'Initialising' loop endlessly.
Perhaps this issue is related to the actual Linux kernel in use as I have checked that the correct Wine dependencies are present in all cases.
