When I start the game launcher, the 4 buttons in it (play,video,advanced,quit) are not drawn either in fullscreen or in virtual desktop mode. If I grab the launcher window and move it towards the edge of the screen, the buttons appear when that part of the window which holds the buttons moves beyond the screen.
The launcher needs mfc42.dll. There is no demo version available.

--- Comment #1 from Michael Müller michael@fds-team.de --- This also affects the launcher of "Seven Kingdoms II: The Fryhtan Wars" in the exact same way. You have to force a redraw for example by moving the mouse over the buttons.

They have fixed number of bugs already and the launcher in the picture looks that it gets fixed with these patches. If the issue is fixed then this bug is dupe of bug 2624.

They have fixed number of bugs already and the launcher in the picture looks that it gets fixed with these patches. If the issue is fixed then this bug is dupe of bug 2624.
The aforementioned patches don't change anything, buttons are still missing in the launcher.

The bug only occurs in Staging, and yes it is still present as of 7.0-rc3 Staging version.

--- Comment #8 from Béla Gyebrószki gyebro69@gmail.com --- This bug is now present in vanilla Wine too because the staging patch got merged into upstream in Wine-10.6 as commit 6b7963037f935f7fc20e2278e1916ea653219a13. The commit can be reverted cleanly on 10.17 and that fixes the problem in Soulbringer launcher.
