Crash Log for Orgegon Scientific SmartSync

SmartSync is a small utility used to download heartrate data from the Oregon
Scientific WM100 via USB

Under Wine, the splash screen is displayed then a dialogue box titled pg3147
with the text "Out of Memory" with an OK button is displayed. Clicking OK
results in the application closing.

Interestingly, under Windows XP, all attempts to snoop the USB comms have
failed with SmartSync hanging.

I have contacted Oregon Scientific asking about a Linux version of SmartSync
and if I can attach the installer (no download on their website at this time)

Using winetricks got the program running (not sure which package did the trick
- will bisect)

Eeep - and I now see USB is not fully supported yet - I'm having a look at

I am now running 1.2-rc4 with the USB patches.

wintricks mdac25 fixed the crash problem so the application now runs to main
screen.

Still trying to get USB devices to work

Invalid. Please don't file bugs for experimental patches here. Missing
redistributable(s) also makes it invalid.
