The installer fails on first try (empty .wine dir if in doubt), but succeeds on
second try.

The error on first try is a MessageBox showing:

Default output with wine from current GIT and clean .wine dir

The Browser installs here without the exception, but my environment
has always the gecko engine available.
Please make sure, that gecko is working:
 wine iexplore www.winehq.org

Does the T-Online Browser 5 install on your System now?
