Hey guys,

I'm getting an issue that Portal renders a small rectangle box which has a grey
mirrored rendering of the actual Portal game. It's very annoying and it
shouldn't be there. It is indeed a bug. The screenshot is attached below.

It happens on both full screened and windowed mode.

My system specifications:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+
320GB system drive
500GB data drive
4GB DDR2-667
OpenSUSE 11 (x86-64)
WINE 1.1.7

To fix this issue, use the following in your registry:

[Software\Wine\Direct3D] 1225258249
"DirectDrawRenderer"="OpenGL"
"OffscreenRenderingMode"="fbo"
"UseGLSL"="enabled"
"VideoMemorySize"="512"                     //change this to your graphics card
VRAM (in MB)

What video card and driver version?
Get rid of this:
"OffscreenRenderingMode"="fbo"

and retest. Fbo is buggy.

It's not fixed if it doesn't work in default config.

Works fine here. This bug is fixed in number of other applications.

Closing fixed at least in wine-1.1.11
