No, I don't have PuseAudio installed on my ArchLinux.
No, I had configured Intel Corporation 82801EB/ER (ICH5/ICH5R) AC'97 Audio Controller as the default ALSA device (intel8x0).

Then do that. Wine uses default ALSA card and does not work with any other sound card unless explicitly configured to do so.
