i got fedora 8, wine 0.9.52...

i already had photoshop 7 running,
when i transfered a installed copy from my windows box.

then, i think an fedora update came in, and 
i cant say what exactly got updated, but
it started crashing.

i tried installing it freshly, then there are some 
dialogs, which come when u first start photoshop, like
register online, or color management, but once i get past
them, it also crashes.

i load it with wine photohop.exe, and it initializes just
fine. then, when i click the main window or just wait a few
seconds, it crashes.

Can you give wine 0.9.53 a try? I think there were some fixes for wintab32
there.

Fil, can you please post in Bugzilla, do not reply to wine-bugs.  Email read:

"i compiled wine .53 and it works now, but i got some errors or warnings at
the fontcompile step, and in photoshop the window-icons on the top right are
screwed
and the fonts look worse then with the pre-packaged fedora rpm..
so i guess i gotta figure out how to get the fonts right, then i can use it
properly..

sure.. i read over it, because gmail dimmes the stuff after --,
to an uninteresting lightgrey.. i also thought the mails get automatically 
postet..if u know what i mean.
