In CSpy/Month Calendar, select December 25th, 2006, and then click on the 1 below it. (January 1st, 2007) On Windows, the calendar switches to January 2007, and highlights January 1st. On Wine, the calendar highlights January 25th. This bug also affects the Date and Time Picker.
Still present in git.
Additionally, clicking the today circle (the red circle in the bottom left corner) highlights the current day on the calendar in Windows, but not in Wine.

So the first patch you sent solved the initial problem, but it introduced a new bug:
Today is March 8th, so when I start a calendar, it has the 8th day of the month highlighted. When I go back to December 2006, the 8th of December is highlighted. When I highlight December 25th, both the 8th and 25th are highlighted.
Fixed in git.
