The nuclear blast effect in Rise of Nations Gold Edition looks awful when running under WINE. There is supposed to be a smooth white effect, but instead there is no real transition and the screen stays at a white point for the duration of the effect, during which time, artifacts can be seen on screen.

Just tried! Software/Hardware info 64bit kubuntu 11.10 AMD Radeon HD 4870 using fglrx driver! wine-1.3.35 (allow pixel shader is enabled in winecfg) have installed directx9 with winetricks and mfc42
All seems to be working, except multiplayer! :(
