I want to run some windows programs with ru_RU.utf8 and others with en_US.utf8.

If the first windows program is started with en_US, other programs can't use
Russian font MS Sans Serif, even though started with LANG=ru_RU.utf8 :
* the font dialog displays Script : { 'Western' }
* Russian letters displayed as black squares

If the first windows program is started with ru_RU, the font "MS Sans Serif" is
not listed in the font dialog.

That's because font aliases are different for english and russian locales,
and aliases are stored in the registry. Won't fix I'd say, it's impossible
to have have different alias sets in registry depending on locale.

And wineserver has nothing to do with it.

You should've said that the registry key is written when the first windows
program to starts.
