Try again in a clean wineprefix.
If you run the GOG version of the game how come Steam is running?

In before wine versions game runs without problem

Please don't reuse an already existing wineprefix where several other
apps/games are installed when reporting bugs.
Reopen if you have the problem in a CLEAN wineprefix.
