I have logged on the game, played with a character witch shows the bug only enough to kill a monster and then i left the game. That's the output I've got.
Is it enough, or is it there anything that is needed to do?

Thank you for testing, but i am still missing info how to exactly reproduce? Which character(s)? Does this character show the problem imeddiately after showing ingame? (it's for those who never play this game and want to reproduce the issue)

To start the game, first I have to start a program self-called "patcher". It assures that the version of the game is the equal to their server's version. If it is, we can start the game; if it is not, we may let the patcher download the necessary files in order to update.
When starting the game, we face already with a 3d view and a simple window to log in with your own account.
After logging, you have access to a menu where you can create characters which you may use to play in a virtual game, or to play with your already-created characters. In order to explain what I'll be telling you next, that must be known that Perfect World International (PWI to some), has 4 different races with one including 2 different classes, making a total of 8 different characters.

In order to explain what I'll be telling you next, that must be known that Perfect World International (PWI to some), has 4 different races with one including 2 different classes, making a total of 8 different characters. As for the human race, we have the classes Blademaster and Wizard. In the winged elves area, we can create Archers and Clerics. As a Untamed, you can be either a Barbarian or a Venomancer. And the recently added race, Tideborn, has the possibility to create a Psychic or an assassin.
The problem that might be saw usually appear with psychic, assassin and the barbarian class sometimes right on this character selection menu, because while you are choosing your character that you will play, you may face a simple presentation of their look.
As a game similar to World of Warcraft, after selecting your character, you may enter in the game with the character that you've chosen and enter in the virtual world and do what you want basically. Since I have played with an assassin, I logged on, selected an assassin to play, entered the virtual world with that character, and I killed a simple monster that appeared near me. While I was seeing that character, I was always able to see that bug.

Many thanks for patience. I actually though about shorter advice like:
Create account -> in-game choose psychic character/class and in a lot of cases you will see the problem right here, if not, enter the game and it shows the problem immediately.
Unfortunately i can't confirm. Characters appears correctly in all the following versions: * 1.1.44, 1.2-rc1, 1.3.2, 1.3.2-157-g2c4b081 * nVidia GT240 v195.36.31
Tested in both cases - character creation and in-game. Also i did not see any problems at other in-game players.

Now i tried that under wine-1.3.3 and 1680*1050 in both modes - windowed then fullscreen. Works correctly here. Note: * nVidia GT240 v195.36.31 (512MB detected by wine, 1024MB real) * tested with full details set in patcher.exe * V-Sync turned off (rest of the setting is on)

--- Comment #13 from iska.gp@gmail.com 2010-12-25 04:26:39 CST --- I have the same problem here. I don't even need to start playing, I get it in the character creation page. Certain characters (Tideborn & Untamed) have this misplaced textures/triangles. Running: - Wine 1.3.8 - Snow Leopard 10.6.5 - ATI HD 4870
I guess this is related to the ATI card, since I've seen the same bug in many games (Mafia 2, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed .. ) using ATI graphic cards, while Nvidia displays everything correctly.
Let me know if you need screenshots and/or logs.

--- Comment #14 from Colin L Crowley sanaki@fuzzy-dice.net 2012-05-23 09:02:44 CDT --- Confirmed as well... only problem is, it's not Wine's bug. I'll agree it's most likely due to the game designers coding for NVidia hardware and having issues with ATI cards down the line. Witnessed equally in Ubuntu 12.04 and Windows XP.
