Console Output

The Settlers V Gold Edition crashes when starting. The game will crash even if
you start it from the autorun program on the disc.

I think this problem is a regression in Wine. There are Wine 5.X versions were
the game seems to work. The game also works fine on Windows 7.

The demo version of the game seems to have the same problem too. You can get
the demo from https://www.gamepressure.com/download.asp?ID=7246

Reverting some of the changes from the patch that causes this regression makes
the game run again on newer Wine version.

The Settlers V don't work on Windows 10.

It seems like this problem isn't there anymore in Wine 7.4 and (at least some)
never versions. I tested it with the official WineHQ build for Debian Bullseye.
