Summary: Half Life 2: No keyboard input Product: Wine Version: 0.9.43. Platform: Other OS/Version: other Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: P2 Component: wine-directx-dinput AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: i386dx@hotmail.com
When I start Half Life 2 without Emulated Desktop the keyboard doesn't work in the game. Cannot move the player, cannot type something into the desktop, and even in the keyboard option menu pressing a key isn't detected. The mouse works without any problems.
Half Life 2 itself is started with these options:
-novid -dxlevel 90 -width 1024 -height 768 -heapsize 512000 -console

For some reason I disabled this function yes. I re-enabled it and the game work as a charm... Seems this bug-report wasn't necessary.
