After upgrading to 3.5.3 in wine 1.1.29 i get the attached error. mostly when
opening the add-ons window.
in that context i spotted some ole-errors on the console.

Looks like it is caused by Adobe Download Manager, but i am not sure

Jerome, try a youtube video and follow the instructions to get the flashplayer.
then restart firefox and the errors should come up.

I installed Firefox 3.6.6, and flash is detected by default when I load a
youtube video. Is there another way to reproduce this bug?

Ignore this comment, I confused my native and windows browser windows.. (oops)

I installed the plugin, and when I restart Firefox and attempt to load a
youtube video it freezes. I do not get the GetPlus error message like the
original poster. My console output is attached.

Still present with Firefox 3.6.6.
Only way is to deactivate the Adobe DLM and getplusplus stuff

I can't reproduce this in wine 1.5.14, but I'm not sure if Adobe still uses the
getPlus stuff. Firefox 3.5.3 works very well in a clean prefix, FF installs the
flash plugin and youtube works well. Maybe abandoned?
