This a regression issue - the only visible error is through the program. The error "this application cannot run because of an unknown error" pops up.
This appeared to work fine before 1.1.30, so this is probably a regression.

Did you test it with 1.1.43 or just only with 1.1.30?

I can't confirm this as a regression. Wine 1.1.42 and 1.1.43 works for me. Application starts up normally just saying "...this is a demo... no export&save"

I've tried current git (wine-1.3.7-103-gb8d0c0d) as well as 1.1.42 and 1.1.43 and all work. The last entry in the AppDB agrees that wine-1.1.42 is fine. I'm marking this bug as WORKSFORME.
