One can hear the sound, but eTeacher 4 crashes if it is turned on.

There's no demo for this application.

Tested with:
Windows Vista (without Wine), GeForce 9600M GS--the program works fine here
Ubuntu 13.04, GeForce 9600M GS (NVIDIA driver 313)
Mac OS X 10.7.5, ATI HD 2600 Pro, Mac Driver/X11

Not fixed in Wine 1.7.29

It looks like it's a problem with winevdm.exe

Doesnt seem too complicated to fix.

This application doesnt have free demo to try out?

Since there is no demo and last attempt was using wine 1.7.29 could you retest
this bug with more recent wine? I think there has been over 2 years of wine
development since that time.
