When exiting CounterStrike: Source and HL2 based games, I receive this error box about 50% of the time:

Could this be caused by running from Ext4? I've seen this happening for a while, so I'm not sure how far back to go with a regression test. Would testing against 1.0.1 be helpful?
Wine: wine-1.1.27 (+ clean .wine prefix, *No registry tweaks*). HL2.exe overridden to run as Win98.

Quite possible, though the symptoms are slightly different on my machine: I don't get any settings corruption, nor do I have problems exiting Steam.
