Another work around is to install http://ftp.ldscatalog.com/PAF5AllLangs.exe instead of http://
ftp.ldscatalog.com/PAF5EnglishSetup.exe and then choose to install a Unicode font during the PAF 
installation. The Unicode font will then be used by default when the program first starts up.
