Game installs and updates, but fails at the login screen. There seems to be some sort of problem with the inbuilt "protection", gameguard. One error before the login screen and another (fatal) error after.

Yes. Its free (beer) to download and play http://bots.acclaim.com/ is the official site, but I think they want you to register first. If you don't want to register, you can get it from http://www.mofunzone.com/download_games/bots.shtml

I used Wine 1.1.10 with Kubuntu 8.04 64 bits.
