--- Comment #3 from adbs98 atlmods@gmail.com 2011-11-25 23:12:48 CST --- Created attachment 37623 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=37623 sbocx.dll file
This is the file that is causing the issue. I have tested this in both versions of sbclient. I have also gone in on a working machine and deleted this file and can verify the same effect causes. The search bar does not come up and sbclient is locked. This file is not loading correctly causing the lockup

--- Comment #4 from adbs98 atlmods@gmail.com 2011-11-25 23:16:49 CST --- I am having the same issue and have narrowed this down to sbocx.dll causing this issue. For some reason wine is not handling this dll well and when loading it it crashes. I have confirmed this by removing the file in a working system and this causes the same issue as in Wine. SBclient starts to load and locks up when side search bar comes up. Please help!!

--- Comment #5 from Christian lucasc82@gmail.com 2011-11-28 10:47:42 CST --- For me a workaround is overriding oleaut32.dll (thanks to adbs98 :-)). Tested to work on wine 1.3.31 (Ubuntu 10.4) and wine 1.3.28 (Ubuntu 11.10).
adbs98, can you confirm this?
At this point I am not sure any-more if this is a valid wine bug. winetricks is installed but is not needed for the fix.
many thanks for any insights.

--- Comment #6 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2013-12-05 21:51:23 CST --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for 2 years. Is this still an issue in current (1.7.7 or newer) wine? If so, please attach the terminal output in 1.7.7 (see http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log).
