File with the missing symbols

After opening a file that contain mathematics symbols, this ones doesn't
appear. You can see them if you open the file in Windows XP or even in
OpenOffice in Ubuntu.

You have to install a Symbol font compatible with Windows symbol.ttf

I'm not aware of one. If you have a Windows install copy symbol.ttf to
~/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts, add an appropriate registry entry, and see
if that helps.

The file displays fine for me in 1.1.8 with symbol.ttf installed systemwide.

Yeap, using native symbol.ttf worksaround the problem. But that font is
copyrigtted by MS, so we need to find an alternative.

I tested this in an installation of Firefox 3.1B2, i have no Problems viewing
websites using that font(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contract_bridge) maybe
gecko does the thing?

That web page uses Unicode chars like 2663      BLACK CLUB SUIT

I suspect somebody who understands font linking etc.
could figure out how to create a symbol.ttf that
connects the dots (as it were).

I tested one of the duplicate bugs that has a download (bug 16619), which works
fine.

Please retest in git or wait for wine 1.1.16.

It's working perfect for Office 2007 with the file attached. It's working for
the original bug reported here.

It works fine with Word 2003 using the first file in the attachments.
