I installed MS Office 2007 (Word and Excel) using WINE 1.3.9 and everything
worked fine, except for this: at the time I created a graph (either pie, lines
or columns or whatever) there is no text in its box. No axes references, no
labels etc..

Confirming, happens in all the following wine versions:
 * 1.1.3, 1.1.10, 1.1.20, 1.1.30, 1.1.40, 1.3.0, 1.3.9

i.e. probably newer worked correctly.

You need to set the override for riched20.
