Should be fixed by 745126b05d4bd2bb6d989574109fd542ac388629.
Would this fix be included in upcoming 1.3.8 release? Are there any ways to fetch to source tarball with this commit included not requiring me to install git (currently I'm in situation when installing RPM on older Fedora 8 system would require a lot of recompiling while and installing git in a new Fedora 13 installation would be useless as it is totally unconfigured a.t.m., even display driver is not working correctly)?

--- Comment #5 from GyB gyebro69@gmail.com 2010-11-16 13:17:42 CST --- I don't know if the issue is really fixed in the NFS games, using wine-1.3.7-68-g9de2ed9 or newer: the game shows some strange DirectX error on startup for me.
But the fact is that Rag Doll Kung Fu is also affected by this regression: the game crashes during the initial loading stage. The result of the regression test is the same:
commit 3bbe658ef1b2a992ad44cd9503ad65889a1c6896 wined3d: Remove some useless code.
The crash is still present in Rag Doll Kung Fu using the current git (wine-1.3.7-103-gb8d0c0d).
