When starting LTspice XVII a "serious error" is encounterd. After 30 - 90 seconds, LTspice XVII will start as normal but at some point the program will hang. I have to use a Ctrl-alt-del to restart my computer.

created fresh wine prefix Downloaded & installed LTspice XVII. Started LTspice and opened some example schema. I ran the simulation and poked around with voltage probe. Application was running approx 5minutes, didn't hang or crash.
