Created attachment 54172 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=54172 Terminal output for Lichdom Battlemage in Wine 1.9.7 Staging
Hi,
I have a 64-bit prefix with d3dx10 installed via winetricks.
I installed the GOG version of Lichdom Battlemage and I ran the 64-bit version of the game with "wine LichdomBattlemage.exe" and the game simply refuses to start.
It fails to load so there's no backtrace but I do have some terminal output in case it helps any.

--- Comment #1 from Sebastian Lackner sebastian@fds-team.de --- Unless this a regression specific to Wine Staging, the "Wine" product is more appropriate.

Apologies, I thought since I am using Wine Staging, I should file a bug report with that product. Sorry!

--- Comment #3 from fjfrackiewicz@gmail.com --- Created attachment 54392 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=54392 Terminal output from Wine 1.9.9 from 32-bit Lichdom executable
The game still fails to start in Wine 1.9.9 but the terminal output is quite different now.
WOW64 prefix and I've ran both the 32 and 64-bit versions of the game and both versions will sit there and output the following lines until I kill the game:
fixme:d3d11:d3d11_immediate_context_OMSetBlendState Per-rendertarget blend not implemented. fixme:d3d11:d3d11_immediate_context_OMSetBlendState Color mask > 3 not implemented.

--- Comment #4 from fjfrackiewicz@gmail.com --- Created attachment 54601 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=54601 Terminal output for Wine 1.9.11 Staging with CSMT disabled
32-bit prefix, Windows 7 mode, attempting to start the 32-bit version of the game with Wine 1.9.11 Staging with no CSMT.
After that short terminal output, the game prompts me with a dialog box that asks if I want to send an error report to the developer of the game.

--- Comment #5 from fjfrackiewicz@gmail.com --- Created attachment 54602 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=54602 Lichdom Battlemage's error log
I've attached the error log that the game makes whenever it crashes. I am not sure as to whether it will be of any use but I don't have any backtraces to offer.

--- Comment #6 from fjfrackiewicz@gmail.com --- Created attachment 54603 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=54603 Lichdom Battlemage's Game.log file
Adding the Game.log file as it's referred to in the error.log file. I hope it helps somehow.

I believe that this is identical to an issue which was just fixed in Wine Staging git. Please retest with 1.9.12 after it has been released, or with Wine Staging git if you have the possibility to compile it yourself.

I'll retest it as soon as it's available from my distro :)

--- Comment #9 from fjfrackiewicz@gmail.com --- Created attachment 54678 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=54678 Screenshot of the game after it loads
Wine 1.9.12, clean 32-bit prefix, Windows 7 mode.
I now get to this screen after the game loads as it no longer crashes with a dialog box asking me if I want to send a bug report to the game's developer.

--- Comment #10 from fjfrackiewicz@gmail.com --- Created attachment 54679 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=54679 Terminal output for Wine 1.9.12
When the game loads in Wine 1.9.12 it will put out the following lines in the terminal until I kill the process:
fixme:d3d11:d3d11_immediate_context_OMSetBlendState Per-rendertarget blend not implemented. fixme:d3d11:d3d11_immediate_context_OMSetBlendState Color mask > 3 not implemented.

That would be a separate bug. FWIW these fixmes are most likely unrelated with the issues.

The only reason I brought that up is because once the game (Lichdom) gets to the green screen, the terminal is spammed with just those two lines until I kill the process.
I am open to suggestions as far as opening another bug report and the like :)
