Dmitry, I suppose a case of applications _crashing_ on start up is a bit more
severe than thousands of other bugs which remain in "normal" non-descriptive
state.

Anyway I won't change bug severity any time soon.

This bug only happens if Wine is compiled using GCC 4.4.3 - GCC 4.2.4 produces
the working code.

According to http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=40838 all gcc versions
starting from 4.4.1 are broken.
