Summary: Word pro can not find screen extents in windowed mode Product: Wine Version: 1.1.3 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: ToddAndMargo@verizon.net
Hi All,
Lotus Word Pro 9.8.0208.1300, when switched from full screen mode to windowed mode (the two boxes between the underscore and the "X" in the upper right corner):
1) runs off the bottom and the right of the screen.
2) you can not get the double diagonal arrows on the upper left of the windows to size it as it is too far to the upper left.
You can size it by moving the window down by dragging the upper bar to the lower right, then you can catch the double sizing arrows on the upper left.
Many thanks, -T

--- Comment #3 from Lei Zhang thestig@google.com 2008-09-18 18:42:28 --- Does it work better if you use metacity?

--- Comment #4 from Todd Chester ToddAndMargo@verizon.net 2008-09-21 12:39:04 --- Works fine in Metacity. And, the problem is reproducible in all (windows) programs that start maximized.
Also, the lower right problem went away in XFce after rebooting to clear out Metacity. But the Upper, Right problem persists
