Summary: Audio Not working at all, winecfg included Product: Wine Version: 0.9.58. Platform: PC-x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: mark.ellul@gmail.com
Hi,
I am running Ubuntu 7.10 AMD 64, with Wine 0.9.58 (0.9.48 had this problem as well).
My motherboard is a asus p5w Deluxe which uses the ALSA driver for sound. Basically the bug is there is no sound working at all.
I ran winecfg from the terminal and change the audio settings but nothing worked and nothing was logged to the console.
What would be my next step to get some meaningful logs to you...
PS: dmesg doesn't bring up anything...
Thanks and Regards
Mark
