The browser actually loads without a crash.
But it doesnt load anything, could be the same bug that prevents ie8 loading pages without overriding urlmon (or something like that).
I don't see the original issue here.

it was the updater process crashing, refining summary.
The installer/app considerably changed. The app uses Chrome embedded browser engine -> runs into current Chrome sandbox bugs.
Since the original installer is no longer available for reproducing the issue, resolving 'ABANDONED'.
Again: It is imperative that you specify the exact version of the app when reporting a problem!
