The New York Times distributes a proprietary program called TimesReader http://select.nytimes.com/gst/timesreader.html
Attempting to run the installer results in the following error:
$ wine TimesReaderFullSetup.exe fixme:advapi:DecryptFileA "C:\windows\temp\IXP000.TMP\" 00000000
I'm not sure what to do from here but I'm happy to help in debugging this.
