Yes, thats the same program, as far whether or not the starter version does it as well, I am not sure. I would imagine so, since it is based on the same code (free version just locks out some features of the full version), but I have the full version so just haven't tested the free one.

--- Comment #8 from Meho R. meho_r@yahoo.com 2009-12-16 17:28:51 --- It is a directory tree problem. If you try to save inside your home directory or desktop etc., and choose "Desktop", or "My Document", or "My Computer", from the dropdown list, the saving process will certainly fail.
Instead of choosing those places directly from the dropdown menu, in "Save in..." choose the full path, i.e., click on / (this is the most important part), then go to /home/your_user_name/Desktop (or any other place, just follow the steps), and save the file. Now save works. Same goes for export.
So, the solution is to go through full path beginning from / (root directory), and not using shortcuts displayed in Save dialog's dropdown menu.

--- Comment #9 from Michael michael.gebert@gmail.com 2009-12-27 14:49:04 --- Tried in wine 1.1.35 and could not save the file in Ubuntu 64bit 9.10. Tried to save starting from "/" going to home/(user)/Desktop, C drive, Z drive, and user folder. Perhaps there is a regression or something particular with my setup, but I can't save yet. There were also no messages in the console when saving.

This is last effort. What do you want to do with this bug? The download site is still alive and it provides version 4. I didnt notice anyone talking about the version at report time.
