After changing / loading zones several times, City of Heroes segfaults. I don't think it's happening for everybody, but it's repeatable on two different systems of mine (and at least one other user in the appdb). I'm not entirely sure how to help debug this - running debug with +relay never makes it to the login screen (or at least for the amount of time I've waited). I ran it with warn+all and that's attached, but I don't know how useful that is.
It always segfaults while the game is outputting to the console "loading novodex shapes"
Steps to recreate: 1. Load City of Heroes from the launcher or via CityOfHeroes.exe -project coh 2. Load any character and change zones / enter missions / etc several times (it seems to happen villain side much more frequently - usually only takes about 4 or 5 loading screens - possibly because the zones are more graphics saturated?) 3. Segfault
System specs (both my laptop and desktop are similar): Ubuntu 8.10, Intel c2d, 4gb RAM, Nvidia 7600 GT (laptop has some mobile Nvidia 8xxx), Nvidia driver version 180.11

--- Comment #1 from handsomepete jeff.mitchell+WINE@gmail.com 2009-03-08 22:04:01 --- I should've noted that I really doubt this is any sort of regression - this started for me when the CoH folks released the last big update (Issue 13) a couple months ago which seemingly made a number of under the hood changes (water effects stopped working in wine at the same time, the keyboard issues listed in another bug got better (but not fixed), etc). So it seems they've started doing some different stuff with their code.

The issues listed in that bug seem to be directly related to the issue I was having here, and the patches listed in that bug have resolved my issues. Thanks.
