When starting Battle.net the launch fails with error:

This application failed to start because it could not find or load the Qt
platform plugin "windows" in "".

A fix is to go into the subdirectory with the latest version number of
Battle.net (Battle.net.13960 in my case), go to the platform directory and run

$ setfattr -x user.DOSATTRIB qwindows.dll

The bug exists for me since beginning of January.

I experienced the same today after updating the  Battle.net launcher.

It turned out that all files in the launcher directory (in my cas C:\Program
Files (x86)\Battle.net\Battle.net.13960) had the "hidden" flag set.

Clearing them from a wine cmd shell via ATTRIB helped, afterwards it started
again.
I guess "setfattr -x user.DOSATTRIB file..." would also do it.
So it might be caused indirectly by the inclusion of this MR:

Not sure if that can really be considered a wine bug tough...

This is a duplicate of bug 53826 -  Attempting to install / update battle.net
fails with Qt error.
