See the attached picture. You can close the messagebox again and it seems to
work just fine, but it's a bit annoying.

Log with +relay (620MB)

Once in game, just press "left control" to fast forward to the scene where the
issue occurs.

For completeness, attaching a trimmed +relay log.

Forgot to mention, needs "winetricks d3dcompiler_47" and LC_ALL=ja_JP.UTF-8.

Could be related to locale, since leaving LC_ALL on its default causes the
error a lot sooner.

Furigana in text is what triggers the error.

Game is looking for ＭＳ ゴシック font, and seems to be throwing an error if it
fails.
`msgothic.ttc` from Windows, or `winetricks fakejapanese_ipamona` resolves the
issue.

Note the `fakejapanese_ipamona` verb, and not `fakejapanese`, I thought font
substitution didn't work, but turns out, for some reason the game doesn't like
`fakejapanese`.
